Responsibilities
- Federal Case Management: Assist in the intake, processing, and tracking of federal benefit cases with high accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all administrative activities comply with federal laws, VA regulations, and agency policies.
- Document Preparation: Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, and official documents for federal leadership.
- Client Relations: Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families, answering inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources.
- Scheduling Coordination: Manage complex calendars for federal staff, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate electronic and physical records in accordance with federal record-keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience in a government, legal, or corporate setting.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust federal background clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with federal case management software.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
