Responsibilities
- Process and verify veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy
- Conduct eligibility assessments for federal healthcare and disability programs
- Provide clear guidance to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex cases
- Participate in quarterly compliance audits and process improvements
- Utilize VA systems including VBMS and VBA-Net for documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of federal benefits programs preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
