Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and adjudicating federal benefit claims. You will serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming federal benefit applications with a high degree of accuracy.
- Analyze complex claim data to determine eligibility in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Respond to constituent inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards for sensitive federal records.
- Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to resolve complex policy issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed case files and documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or claims processing.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and federal case management software.
