Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with 100% accuracy
- Verify eligibility requirements and supporting documentation
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans via phone/email
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams for complex cases
- Utilize Veterans Affairs IT systems for data management
- Generate detailed claim disposition reports
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal employment)
- Associate's degree or 2+ years claims processing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of veterans' benefits programs
- Pass federal background investigation
