Responsibilities
- Review and process veterans' disability compensation claims in accordance with federal regulations

- Maintain accurate case records using VA's electronic claims management system
- Conduct thorough research to verify service history and medical eligibility criteria
- Prepare detailed decision letters explaining claim outcomes and appeal rights
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with federal standards
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in claims processing or administrative support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with federal regulations (VA, 38 CFR) preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy
- Part-time availability (20-25 hours/week) with flexible scheduling
