Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and quality control measures
- Prepare comprehensive reports for federal compliance requirements (FOIA, HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support agency-specific data initiatives
- Maintain secure data handling procedures in accordance with federal regulations
- Participate in quarterly data strategy meetings with senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (e.g., DHS, FBI, or DOJ databases)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Certification in federal data security protocols (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI for executive-level visualizations
- Knowledge of federal reporting requirements (e.g., OMB Circular A-11)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
