Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Prepare comprehensive data visualizations and executive dashboards for federal agency stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analysis with agency objectives
- Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations in compliance with federal standards
- Support ad-hoc data requests from federal partners within tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets or public sector data
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, 21st Century IDEA Act, etc.)
- Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing methodologies
