Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Prepare detailed reports for agency leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Support grant allocation and program evaluation through quantitative analysis
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and policy analysts on public health projects
- Maintain data integrity across federal systems and databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 2+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance standards
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical software (SAS, SPSS)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of federal privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
