Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends in veteran care outcomes
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security protocols (HIPAA, PII standards)
- Prepare comprehensive reports for VA leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data collection methodologies
- Validate data integrity against federal regulations and VA guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of professional data analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and R for statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
