Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex veteran healthcare datasets to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting solutions using SQL and Python for federal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA regulations, and federal data security standards
- Create interactive visualizations using Tableau for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support veteran care improvement initiatives
- Document data methodologies and maintain audit trails for regulatory compliance
- Present findings to senior leadership through structured briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience with healthcare/federal data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Expert knowledge of Tableau or Power BI for data visualization
- Familiarity with federal data compliance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Strong statistical analysis and hypothesis testing skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA security clearance
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
