Responsibilities
- Analyze federal regulations and policy impacts on veteran services
- Prepare concise briefings for senior leadership review
- Conduct research on veteran healthcare and benefit programs
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces on policy initiatives
- Monitor legislative developments affecting veterans
- Maintain accurate documentation of policy recommendations
- Participate in interdepartmental strategy sessions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 2+ years policy analysis experience (federal preferred)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
- Knowledge of veteran services landscape
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects
