Responsibilities
- Assist in Processing: Support the intake and verification of public records, permit applications, and administrative documents.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to citizens and visitors via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding city services.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry, maintain electronic and physical filing systems, and ensure database integrity.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research on municipal policies, procedures, and local regulations to support departmental decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve overall service delivery.
- Professional Development: Attend mandatory training sessions and workshops to stay updated on city policies and compliance standards.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and adhere to all privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Public Administration or Business preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in customer service, administrative support, or government operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data management software.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Requirements: Must be a resident of Philadelphia, PA, or willing to commute to Center City.
