Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, review, and archiving of municipal reports and compliance documentation.
- Manage data entry and record-keeping for state and federal grant applications and municipal records.
- Respond to public inquiries regarding city services, zoning, and regulatory procedures in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with department heads to streamline administrative workflows and document retrieval processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws, procurement policies, and ethical standards.
- Utilize office automation software to generate statistical analyses and presentation materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an office, administrative, or government support role.
- Familiarity with government databases (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or municipal ERP systems) is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
