Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain confidential public records according to state regulations
- Respond to public and agency information requests within statutory deadlines
- Digitize physical records using specialized scanning equipment
- Ensure compliance with Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56)
- Assist in developing records retention policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on document management initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in records management or archival work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Knowledge of Washington State public records laws
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid Washington State driver's license
