Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned park areas to ensure visitor safety and compliance with park regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and information to park visitors regarding trails, facilities, and wildlife
- Assist in conducting educational programs and interpretive walks for the public
- Monitor park conditions and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Participate in conservation projects including trail maintenance and habitat restoration
- Support special events and recreational activities within Boston's park system
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in environmental science, recreation, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Experience in customer service, education, or outdoor recreation preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
