- Process 911 calls and non-emergency dispatch with exceptional accuracy and composure
- Operate CAD/RMS systems to track incidents and maintain real-time situational awareness
- Coordinate seamlessly with officers, fire departments, and EMS during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation per departmental standards
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
