Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems and radio communication
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers during emergencies
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate and troubleshoot communication equipment (radios, phones, computers)
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing proficiency (verified test required)
- Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong multitasking ability in high-pressure environments
- Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office proficiency
- 18+ years old with US citizenship or legal residency
- Experience in customer service or emergency services (beneficial)
