Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio communication equipment
- Dispatch police/fire/EMS units during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and logs
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM (tested during application)
- Ability to work rotating shifts/nights/weekends
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS)
- Clear speaking voice with excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Valid Kansas driver's license (required post-training)
