Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls and non-emergency requests with speed and precision
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communications equipment
- Coordinate field units during critical incidents and provide real-time situational updates
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation per department protocols
- Collaborate with fire, EMS, and other emergency services agencies
- Deliver clear, concise instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Strong multitasking abilities under high-pressure situations
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn specialized software
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
