Responsibilities
- Analyze economic data and industry trends to inform policy recommendations
- Research and draft legislative briefs, reports, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate with agency directors and legislative liaisons on policy initiatives
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Support grant programs for small businesses and underserved communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of Washington State legislative processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Washington State driver's license
