Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of public health data to support policy development and legislative initiatives.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and briefings for state officials and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements.
- Manage and update internal databases to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on state health programs.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Health Sciences, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government policy analysis or public sector work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
