Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, entry, and verification of public health data to ensure accuracy and compliance with state standards.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders and local partners to gather necessary information for ongoing health initiatives.
- Prepare and format reports for state officials and department heads using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain confidential electronic and physical records in strict adherence to privacy regulations.
- Attend weekly departmental meetings and assist in minute-taking and action item tracking.
- Support outreach events by managing registration tables and distributing informational materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule for approximately 20 hours per week.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
