Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both physical and electronic records, ensuring easy retrieval.
- Process and fulfill information requests from internal departments and the public in a timely and professional manner.
- Digitize historical documents and reports, ensuring proper indexing and data integrity within the county database.
- Assist with administrative audits by preparing, organizing, and verifying required documentation.
- Operate standard office equipment including scanners, printers, multi-line telephones, and fax machines.
- Sort, verify, and distribute incoming mail according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling sensitive data.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of records management principles is preferred but not required.
