Responsibilities
- Process and catalog public records requests in compliance with Oregon public records laws
- Maintain accurate digital and physical document archives using county systems
- Assist citizens with information inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Coordinate document retrieval and delivery processes
- Ensure strict confidentiality and security protocols for sensitive materials
- Generate routine reports on records activity and request volumes
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on complex requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- 1+ years records management or administrative support experience
- Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage large document volumes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting clearance
- Basic knowledge of public records laws in Oregon
