Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize confidential public health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Process immunization certificates and vital documents using City databases
- Assist with public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person at our downtown office
- Collaborate with epidemiologists to prepare statistical reports
- Support community outreach initiatives for health programs
- Ensure data accuracy in vaccination and disease tracking systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- 1+ years experience in records management or data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Illinois driver's license may be required for outreach duties
