Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues for state employees.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support tickets and inventory logs.
- Collaborate with the central IT team to ensure network security and compliance.
- Conduct routine system checks and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Answer inquiries from staff regarding software applications and network access.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT assistance.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Pass a background check and drug screen as required for state employment.
