  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, printers, and peripherals for agency operations.

  • Monitor network performance and respond to alerts regarding system availability and security.
  • Perform accurate data entry and manage digital records in strict compliance with state privacy and retention regulations.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Manager to identify technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of IT assets and software licenses.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in IT support, technical assistance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic understanding of operating systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory State Criminal History Background Check and fingerprinting.
  • Must be available to work a part-time schedule, typically 20-25 hours per week, with some flexibility for evening coverage.
