Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced X-ray technology and metal detectors
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and explosive trace detection procedures
- Monitor security checkpoints to identify and respond to potential threats
- Enforce TSA regulations while maintaining professional customer service standards
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate checkpoint records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency response protocols
- Operate complex security equipment and follow SOPs precisely
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills for passenger interactions
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry 50 pounds frequently
