Responsibilities
- Conduct screening operations for passengers, carry-on baggage, and checked baggage using advanced imaging technology and physical screening.
- Identify prohibited items and take appropriate enforcement actions to ensure security compliance.
- Interact professionally with the traveling public, providing clear instructions and assistance.
- Adhere to all TSA directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and report any suspicious activities or security vulnerabilities.
- Perform regular pat-downs and body scans for passengers who require additional screening.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check, including a criminal history check and security interview.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and drug screening.
- Must be able to wear a uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
