Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail and packages according to delivery routes
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport mail and packages
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner
- Collect and process outgoing mail from customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies
- Follow all USPS policies and procedures for safety and security
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Ability to lift and carry mail weighing up to 70 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
