Responsibilities

- Ensure strict adherence to Texas Government Code and ERISA regulations
- Conduct audits and financial reconciliations for multi-million dollar portfolios
- Develop and implement pension policy improvements aligned with legislative changes
- Provide expert guidance to retirees, agencies, and legal counsel on complex benefit issues
- Manage record-keeping systems using specialized pension administration software
- Collaborate with investment teams to optimize fund performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience in government sector
- Deep knowledge of Texas pension laws and federal ERISA regulations
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., PeopleAdmin, Oracle HCM)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or Pension Actuary (ASA) designation
