Responsibilities
- Administer pension plan benefits including eligibility, calculations, and distributions
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Pennsylvania state laws
- Manage participant communications regarding retirement accounts and plan changes
- Conduct audits and reconciliations of pension fund transactions
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with investment teams on fund performance analysis
- Implement process improvements for pension administration efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or retirement benefits experience
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Provenance)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k)/403(b) regulations, and PA state pension laws
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholder groups
