Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund disbursements with daily pay precision
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and Ohio pension laws
- Conduct member eligibility verifications and record maintenance
- Collaborate with investment teams for fund allocation
- Generate monthly/quarterly compliance reports
- Provide technical support to retirees and employers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years pension administration or benefits experience
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium)
- Knowledge of 401(a) and 457(b) plan regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ohio government or public sector background preferred
- Series 65/66 or CFA designation a plus
