Responsibilities
- Process pension enrollments, disbursements, and eligibility verifications
- Maintain accurate participant records in pension management systems
- Ensure compliance with federal ERISA regulations and Kentucky state statutes
- Respond to participant inquiries regarding retirement benefits and plan provisions
- Conduct audits of pension accounts and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare monthly reports for actuarial reviews and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on retirement planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Proficiency with pension software (e.g., Millennium, UltiPro)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and Kentucky pension regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid Kentucky driver's license (required for occasional off-site meetings)
