Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans including benefit calculations, retiree payments, and participant inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal/state pension laws and regulatory requirements
- Manage pension fund investments and actuarial reporting
- Develop and implement retirement education programs for state employees
- Collaborate with auditors and legal teams for compliance reviews

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and Washington State pension statutes
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, PeopleAdmin)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or Society of Actuaries (SOA) designation preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling
