Responsibilities
- Administer pension plan benefits including calculations, distributions, and participant communications
- Ensure strict compliance with federal/state regulations and fiduciary responsibilities
- Manage retirement plan data systems and generate comprehensive financial reports
- Conduct eligibility reviews and process retirement applications with 99% accuracy
- Develop and implement participant education programs for retirement planning
- Collaborate with legal and audit teams on compliance reviews and policy updates
- Respond to complex participant inquiries regarding pension benefits and options
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- Certified Pension Administrator (CPA) or Certified Public Pension Administrator (CPPA) designation
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRC 401(a), and Florida pension statutes
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, CyberCision)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical precision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for participant interactions
