Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund investments, compliance, and reporting per ERISA regulations
- Process retirement applications, distributions, and member inquiries
- Conduct annual plan audits and financial modeling projections
- Coordinate with legal counsel on fiduciary responsibilities
- Develop retirement education workshops for employees
- Collaborate with HR on plan design improvements
- Maintain accurate participant records in pension software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years pension administration or retirement planning experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CEBS designation preferred
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, BenefitPro)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and state pension laws
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional off-site meetings)
