Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of pension plans with federal regulations (ERISA, IRS codes)
- Conduct audits and investigations of multi-employer pension plans
- Analyze complex financial data to assess plan solvency
- Develop regulatory guidance materials for plan sponsors
- Collaborate with legal teams on enforcement actions
- Represent the agency at industry conferences and stakeholder meetings
- Maintain accurate records of plan compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Knowledge of ERISA and IRS pension regulations
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
