Responsibilities

- Process complex retirement applications and claims documentation
- Provide expert guidance to retirees on pension regulations and options
- Coordinate with federal agencies to ensure compliance with ERISA and OPM standards
- Conduct benefit audits and resolve discrepancies through meticulous analysis
- Maintain confidential records with HIPAA/GSA compliance protocols
- Train staff on pension plan updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field required
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., FEBP, CFP) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SAP HR and federal benefits software
- Exceptional analytical skills for complex benefit calculations
- Strong written communication for policy documentation
- Weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 8am-5pm)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain
