Responsibilities
- Process retirement applications and pension benefit calculations with accuracy
- Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Maintain and update pension records in our state-of-the-art database system
- Assist with annual pension plan audits and compliance reporting
- Collaborate with HR departments to coordinate retirement transitions
- Prepare benefit statements and educational materials for plan members
- Participate in continuous training to stay updated on pension regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn complex pension regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if travel required)
