Responsibilities
- Analyze and administer federal pension plans ensuring ERISA and IRS compliance
- Conduct weekend shift audits of retirement account documentation
- Process complex pension claims with 48-hour turnaround on weekend shifts
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve pension disputes
- Develop educational materials for federal employees regarding retirement benefits
- Monitor pension fund performance and regulatory changes
- Lead weekend stakeholder meetings with agency representatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years pension administration or benefits experience
- Federal compliance certification (e.g., CEBS) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work weekends with flexible scheduling options
- Expertise in ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and TSP guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Oracle HCM)
