Responsibilities
- Analyze pension plan documents for compliance with ERISA and federal regulations
- Process retirement applications and calculate benefit entitlements
- Respond to participant inquiries regarding plan provisions and benefits
- Prepare quarterly and annual compliance reports for regulatory submission
- Coordinate with plan sponsors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Stay updated on legislative changes affecting pension administration
- Maintain secure participant records and documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or ERISA compliance certification
- Proficiency in pension administration software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
