Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans including enrollment, distributions, and record maintenance
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Tennessee state laws
- Conduct audits and financial reporting for retirement accounts
- Provide responsive customer service to plan participants via phone/email
- Collaborate with finance and HR departments on policy updates
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations accurately
- Develop educational materials for pension plan participants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and pension administration software
- Strong knowledge of 401(k), 457(b), and pension regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
