Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems with 100% accuracy
- Dispatch police units using radio communication protocols during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs and incident documentation per NIMS standards
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during natural disasters and public safety events
- Provide crisis intervention using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care
- Operate emergency notification systems for Amber/Blue/Silver Alerts
- Train on EMD and EFD protocols for medical and fire emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 40+ WPM typing certification
- 1+ years customer service or call center experience
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-aided dispatch systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- EMT or Fire certification preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly encouraged
