Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems
- Dispatch police units and emergency services efficiently
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and logs
- Operate radio communication equipment per protocol
- Provide critical information to first responders
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Utilize GIS mapping for location verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer proficiency with ability to learn software
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid New Jersey driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 18+ years old
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred
