Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate personnel using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation in compliance with NIMS protocols
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via EMD-certified protocols
- Operate radio equipment and maintain communication channels
- Perform data entry and report generation with 100% accuracy
- Participate in continuous training for crisis intervention and cultural competency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- EMD or APCO certification within 6 months of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD systems
- Fluency in English/Spanish bilingual skills required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
