Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls and non-emergency requests with exceptional accuracy and speed
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and computer-aided dispatch software
- Coordinate field units during emergencies, providing critical real-time information
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and incidents
- Utilize emergency medical dispatch protocols for life-threatening situations
- Collaborate with firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement agencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Clear diction and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure during critical incidents
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized software
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
