Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems
- Dispatch police units and emergency services with precision and urgency
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to officers and other agencies
- Operate radio systems and multi-line telephone consoles
- Assist citizens with non-emergency requests and inquiries
- Participate in ongoing training drills and scenario simulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship and valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (35+ WPM)
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-stress environments
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
- Must be 18+ years old
