Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls with speed and precision
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units to critical incidents
- Maintain detailed radio logs and incident documentation
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time resource allocation
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival instructions
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Operate specialized communication equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Valid California driver's license
- Pass extensive background check and polygraph
