Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and radio systems
- Provide emergency medical instructions via phone
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during multi-jurisdictional incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear verbal communication skills in English
- Basic computer proficiency with typing test (35+ WPM)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
